Creating a container for Grief

“So it’s true, when all is said and done, grief is the price we pay for love.” ― E.A. Bucchianeri, Brushstrokes of a Gadfly

Grief is an inevitable part of life. Nurses working anywhere witness this. When you are working, there are endless tasks to be done, all correctly and on time. Still, the moments experienced stay with one. I have developed a method for families and caregivers to create a container to hold the grief- at least part of it. Here is an assemblage of pictures created by a family at hospice.
